Are you planning a wedding, life celebration or family reunion in 2018 or 2019? Usually, over the weekend is the most popular time to celebrate events but there are some dates you might want to avoid.
For example, if you desire to get married on or around Valentine’s Day, be prepared to pay more for your bouquet. Flowers are more expensive in February than any other month. Also, if Valentine’s Day does fall on a weekend, expect most wedding venues to book up years in advance (yes, years!)
Helpful Hint: No matter what day of the year you want to rent the MAVFC Reception Hall for your event, the cost will always be the same! (We do not charge more for Saturdays or special holidays)
Holiday weekend events where you have Monday off from work have pros and cons. It’s nice to give guests an extra day to travel (or recover from all that dancing & partying) but hotels and flights could be higher around those dates. Also, some families have annual trips or plans they go on and would prefer not to miss. To help you plan the perfect date for your event, we have put together the next two years of holiday dates to consider when scheduling your event:

We also recommend you check with your family and friends to see if they have any annual occasions or dates that would cause them not to be able to attend.
We would for you to rent the MAVFC Reception Hall for your event, contact us with any questions or to schedule a tour.
